People don't need more content, they need more connection

Every day, we consume more content than ever before.

We scroll through countless posts. We watch videos. We listen to podcasts. We read articles and comments without even thinking about it.

Yet despite being more connected than ever, many people still feel unseen, disconnected, and alone.

The idea would be to build on our last blog post, The Internet Doesn't Just Shape Culture Anymore. It Shapes People. Rather than focusing on how digital spaces influence people, this one would explore how many people are more connected than ever online, yet still feel isolated, unseen, and disconnected.

It would then transition into Soma's mission of creating digital spaces that foster meaningful connection, hope, and opportunities for people to encounter Christ.

I think it could also work well as a static social media post and fit nicely into the broader conversation we're building around digital ministry and human connection.

Let me know what you think of the direction before I start drafting it.

Here is the blog copy

People Don't Need More Content. They Need More Connection.

Hook

People have access to more content than at any point in history.

More videos.

More posts.

More opinions.

More information.

Yet many people still feel disconnected, unseen, and alone.

Main Idea

The problem isn't necessarily a lack of information.

It's a lack of meaningful connection.

People aren't just looking for answers. They're looking for hope, belonging, purpose, and relationships that remind them they're not alone.

This is why the future of digital ministry isn't simply creating more content.

It's creating spaces where people can encounter encouragement, community, and ultimately the hope of Christ.

If you believe digital spaces can become places of encouragement, connection, and hope, we'd love to invite you to support Soma Digital.

Your generosity helps us continue creating resources that point people toward Christ and remind them they are not alone.
